Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements at Elizabeth Forward High School are clearly defined and must be fully completed in order for a student to receive a diploma. According to the 2026–2027 Program of Studies, students must earn a total of 25 credits for the Class of 2027 and 2028, including 4 credits of English, 4 credits of Mathematics, 3 credits of Science, 3 credits of Social Studies, 1 credit of Physical Education, 0.5 credit of Building Bridges to My Future (9th grade), 0.5 credit of Health (10th grade), and 0.5 credit of Personal Finance (11th grade), along with 8.5 elective credits.

Members of the Class of 2029 and 2030 must earn a total of 27 credits, including 4 credits of English, 4 credits of Mathematics, 3 credits of Science, 3 credits of Social Studies, 1 credit of Physical Education, 0.5 credit of Building Bridges to My Future (9th grade), 0.5 credit of Health (10th grade), and 0.5 credit of Personal Finance (11th grade), along with 10.5 elective credits.

In addition to completing required coursework with passing grades, students must demonstrate proficiency in Algebra I, Literature, and Biology through Keystone Exams or one of the state-approved pathways and successfully complete a senior project incorporated into the English curriculum.
